"You in the plaid shirt, go call 911 and come back. If you can find an AED, bring that with you." If no one to call, I'll dial 911 on my phone, leave it on speakerphone for prompting from the dispatcher. Start in with my 30 chest compressions. [Begins CPR] I'm gonna continue 30 chest compressions and two rescue breaths until EMS arrives and AED arrives, someone equally trained or higher takes over, and the patient begins to respond and breathe normally.
