Child Rescue Breathing Training Summary:

A patient is considered to be a child between the age of one to the first signs of puberty (approximately 12-14 years of age). If the child is unresponsive and not breathing normally but has a pulse, rescue breathing should be performed at a rate of one breath every three seconds. After two minutes, check for a pulse. If there is no pulse present, begin CPR on this patient.
