First go to www.procpr.org and log in with your username and password
Next click on "Profile" on the left hand menu and change your information. Finally, click "Save Changes."
- I am unable to login
You should have been sent a welcome email containing your username and password. Be sure to type your password exactly as it appears in the email. Your password is case sensitive, which means that "password", "Password", and "PASSWORD" are all different passwords. If this doesn't work, you can have your password reset here.
If you can't remember your username fill out the form below to let us know. Be sure to include your first and last name, and email address.

Card Acceptance
- Is this CPR card valid?
Yes, the card issued by ProCPR is a valid CPR certificate for professionals looking to renew their CPR certification. It is comparable to CPR for the Professional Rescuer through Red Cross or American Heart Association. We are accepted at a rate of over 98% across the United States and Canada.
- My employer won't accept the certificate
It is up to the discretion of each employer to choose whether they will accept the ProCPR certification. ProCPR offers a 30 day money-back guarantee if your employer chooses not to accept the certificate. Click here to fill out the form and request a refund. Please be aware that your card will no longer be valid in the ProCPR system if you are issued a refund.
ProCPR is accepted at a rate of over 98% across the United States and Canada. We welcome all questions from your employers about our accredited program.
- Will my employer accept this card?
It is up to the discretion of each individual employer to decide whether or not they will accept the ProCPR certification. It is suggested that you show the certificate or website (www.procpr.org) to your employer and let them decide.
If you call any other Curriculum provider, ie. American Heart Association or Red Cross, they will most likely tell you they do not recognize or accept our certificate. This is misleading because they do not have the authority to neither approve nor deny anyone's course but their own. In short, they are competitors to ProCPR; we provide an accredited equivalent certificate.
ProCPR meets or exceeds all of the AHA suggested training guidelines and strictly adheres to the latest ILCOR/ECC guidelines.
Certification Question
- Does ProCPR have Continuing Education Units?
If you completed the 100% online recertification, we offer 2 Basic Continuing Education Credits which are equal to contact hours. At your request we would be glad to send you a continuing Education statement.
If you completed the "Blended Course" with a hands-on skill evaluation, we can give you 2 Basic Credits through CECBEMS (Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services). At your request we would be glad to send you an official statement of CECBEMS credits.
Not every licensing board offers the same amount of CEU's for our course, so please check with your agency for the number of hours that can be used for BLS or Healthcare Provider CPR certification. EMS professionals should check with their registration/licensure/certifying authority to determine if the course is recognized and approved for the purposes of renewing their registration, licensure, or certification.
- How long is the CPR certificate valid?
The ProCPR certificate is valid for two years after passing the CPR certification test with a score of 85% or better.
- Is ProCPR an AHA affiliate?
The American Heart Association is the American Liaison to the ECC/ILCOR conference and has neither the authority to approve or disapprove any curriculum other than their own.
ProCPR adheres to the ECC/ILCOR and American Heart Association guidelines set forth by the latest ECC 2005 conference. ProCPR.org is not affiliated with the American Heart Association but is an accredited equivalence to the AHA guidelines. If a ProCPR customer were to contact the American Heart Association and ask if we are accepted by the AHA, they would respond by saying they do not recognize ProCPR as an AHA training center. This is correct but does not mean that we are not an accredited program that meets the requirements of the State, JCHAO or any other credentialing programs.
ProCPR is a fully accredited provider of both online and "Blended Course" CPR certification with an acceptance rate of 98%.
ProCPR is accepted widely by state licensing departments and privatized agencies alike. ProCPR was recently accredited for continued education credits by the CECBEMS accrediting board in Florida.
Web based training and Blended course CPR certification has been given credible support by research that backs the legitimacy of this type of program. Please let us know if you would like to receive our compliance statement, manual or blended course flow chart to clarify the procedures followed in this program.
ProCPR will fully refund your money if you are not accepted or if you are not fully satisfied with the CPR certification provided by ProCPR.
- Is this a BLS course?
ProCPR's testing and certification is targeted to health care professionals. ProCPR is Adult / Infant / Child and is AED inclusive.
If you are looking for Basic Life Support, BLS, BCLS, or Healthcare Provider Level C, you are in the right place. ProCPR is the equivalent of these certifications.
ProCPR also adheres to the ECC/ILCOR and AHA recommendations set forth by the latest ECC 2005 conference. ProCPR is accepted over 98% of the time across the United States and Canada and follows the suggested AHA guidelines for Healthcare Provider CPR.
- What if I don't pass the test?
You may take and retake the test as many times that you need to for free. It is only after passing the test and when you wish to print off your certificate that you must pay. Once you do pay, you may print off your certificate as many times as you like for free.
If you would like to review or study for the test, click the "Reviews" link on the left-hand menu. It will bring up all our training videos which you can watch for free.
- What is the Blended Course? (Hands on skills)
We realize that some of our students are required to have a hands on skill evaluation as part of your two-year re-certification. We offer a blended course to offer all of our students more convenient training, at their own pace and fitting with their busy schedule.
With a blended course you take the cognitive test/challenge portion of your re-certification online with ProCPR and print out our blended course certificate.
To print the blended course certificate, please go to www.ProCPR.org and log in with your username and password. Then, after option 4, click on the [skill/eval] link and print your card.
Then, you would take this certificate to an instructor of your choosing or designated trainer for your employer, and they would evaluate your hands-on skills, usually in 5-10 minutes. Not as convenient, be we understand some employers are requiring this. After the skill evaluation the hands on instructor would co-sign the back of your card.
