Get Help -- Certification Question
The ProCPR certificate is valid for two years after passing the CPR certification test with a score of 85% or better.
Yes, the card issued by ProCPR is a valid CPR certificate for professionals looking to renew their CPR certification. It is comparable to CPR for the Professional Rescuer through Red Cross or American Heart Association. We are accepted at a rate of over 98% across the United States and Canada.
The American Heart Association is the American Liaison to the ECC/ILCOR conference and does not have the authority to approve or disapprove any curriculum other than their own.
ProCPR adheres to the ECC/ILCOR and American Heart Association guidelines set forth by the latest ECC 2010 conference. ProCPR.org is not affiliated with the American Heart Association but is an accredited equivalence to the AHA guidelines. If a ProCPR customer were to contact the American Heart Association and ask if we are accepted by the AHA, they would respond by saying they do not recognize ProCPR as an AHA training center. This is correct but does not mean that we are not an accredited program that meets the requirements of the State, JCHAO or any other credentialing programs.
ProCPR is a fully accredited provider of both online and "Blended Course" CPR certification with an acceptance rate of 98%.
ProCPR is accepted widely by state licensing departments and privatized agencies alike. ProCPR was recently accredited for continued education credits by the CECBEMS accrediting board in Florida.
Web based training and Blended course CPR certification has been given credible support by research that backs the legitimacy of this type of program. Please let us know if you would like to receive our compliance statement, manual or blended course flow chart to clarify the procedures followed in this program.
ProCPR will fully refund your money if you are not accepted or if you are not fully satisfied with the CPR certification provided by ProCPR.
ProCPR's testing and certification is targeted to health care professionals. ProCPR is Adult / Infant / Child and is AED inclusive.
If you are looking for Basic Life Support, BLS, BCLS, or Healthcare Provider Level C, you are in the right place. ProCPR is the equivalent of these certifications.
ProCPR also adheres to the ECC/ILCOR and AHA recommendations set forth by the latest ECC 2010 conference. ProCPR is accepted over 98% of the time across the United States and Canada and follows the suggested AHA guidelines for Healthcare Provider CPR.
The ProCPR Blended Course is a DANB accepted CPR course.
With a blended course you take the cognitive test/challenge portion of your certification online with ProCPR and print out our blended course certificate.
To print the blended course certificate, after passing and paying for the online test, click the blended course link on the home page.
Then, you would take this certificate to an instructor of your choosing or designated trainer for your employer, and they would evaluate your hands-on skills, usually in 30-45 minutes. After the skill evaluation the hands on instructor would co-sign the back of your card.
If your employer doesn't have a recommended instructor, try going to BlendedCPR.com and checking for an approved evaluator in your area or give a call to your local fire station or ambulance company. Skill evaluators usually charge between $20 and $40 for this service.
If you completed the 100% online recertification, we offer four (4) Basic Continuing Education Credits which are equal to contact hours. Please log into your account and click on the link to print out your CEU statement if you completed and paid for the course.
If you are an EMS professional and completed the "Blended Course" with a hands-on skill evaluation, we can give you 4 Basic Credits through CECBEMS (Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services). Please send us an email with your EMS License number, date issued, renewal date, and national registry if currently national registry certified, and we would be glad to send you an official statement of CECBEMS credits.
Not every licensing board offers the same amount of CEU's for our course, so please check with your agency for the number of hours that can be used for BLS or Healthcare Provider CPR certification. EMS professionals should check with their registration/licensure/certifying authority to determine if the course is recognized and approved for the purposes of renewing their registration, licensure, or certification.
